Four ways to say how big

A percentage for quick halving, an exact width or height with the other side following, or a box the image must fit inside, which is the right choice for a batch of mixed sizes that all need to fit a 1920×1080 slide or a 1080×1080 post. The aspect ratio is always preserved; use crop if you need a different shape.

Quality

Downscaling uses the browser’s highest-quality resampling, so thin lines and text stay crisp. Upscaling is off unless you turn it on, because making pixels up never looks as good as the original; for pixel art and icons, the upscale tool has a pixel-perfect mode instead.
